Asphalt Worker
Asphalt Workers compact, level and spread materials to form roads and footpaths, perform minor repairs to damaged surfaces, repair signs and guideposts, and undertake general maintenance of bitumen surfaces.
Civil Construction Worker
Civil Construction Workers perform basic civil operations work. They may operate small plant and equipment, carry out measurements and calculations, and collect and prepare samples. This is an entry level position.
Construction Hand
Construction Hands assist on construction sites with manual work such as spreading and compacting materials, digging trenches, controlling construction traffic, laying pipes and doing simple concreting work.
