This qualification reflects the role of employees working in supervisory positions in civil construction. Foreman (Civil Construction)
Foremen supervise crews of workers on a civil construction project site and co-ordinate their work. Civil Construction Foremen are responsible for making sure that the work assigned to the crew is completed safely, on time and in accordance with specifications.
Road and Pavement Civil Construction Supervisor
Road and Pavement Civil Construction Supervisors work as site or works supervisors directing a team of road and pavement workers. They are responsible for preparing work zone traffic management plans and developing a works maintenance schedule.
Roads Maintenance Team Leader
Roads Maintenance Team Leaders directly supervise crews of road maintenance workers. They oversee maintenance and road construction activities, use their experience and knowledge to provide operational advice, and ensure safety guidelines are adhered to.
Underground Civil Construction Supervisor
Underground Civil Construction Supervisors work as site or works supervisors directing a team of underground civil construction workers. They supervise tunnel construction and the installation, repair and maintenance of underground services using open excavation and trenchless technology tasks.
